The Christmas story beautifully retold by our current grade 5’s when they were in Kindergarten! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Sacred Heart Academy! May your hearts and homes be filled with hope, peace, joy, and love this Christmas season, as we await the arrival of Christ the King!❤️🎄
Due to the weather we have hired Southland Transportation to safely bus our students instead of walking to Mass today at Sacred Heart Church. 🙏
Strathmore - All rural cancelled. In town cancelled on route 41, 44 & 45
CTR Catholic has been informed that road conditions may deteriorate throughout the afternoon today due to weather conditions. We expect afternoon bus routes to run at this time, but rural routes may become more challenging. Bus drivers in Strathmore will notify affected families as soon as possible if they determine that their rural route, or a portion of the route, is not safe to travel. We apologize for this disruption as we realize that the inconvenience for families is significant, but we must err on the side of safety with the knowledge that some roads may not be in reasonably safe condition. Families are encouraged to plan for alternate arrangements to pick up their children or have them stay with a trusted adult ahead of time, in case you are informed that your bus is unable to run. All families are welcome to pick up their children at any time, please contact your school if you wish to do so. If your child drove themselves to school today and you wish for them to leave early to avoid worsening road conditions, please make arrangements through the school office. Some school staff will remain on site after the close of the day to supervise students who cannot be picked up at the last bell and to help support families with their arrangements. As always, we will not run buses earlier than the end of the day, because we cannot assume that there will be supervision at home in every case. We apologize for any inconvenience as we navigate these winter driving conditions.
