Registration is open to all families living in the Strathmore area, both Catholic and non-Catholic. 

The cost for families is as follows:

  • Five Days A Week Morning Program - 8:25 am to 11:25 am (Monday to Friday): $225/month (15 hours of instructional time/week)  
  • Currently, the Alberta Government is paying $100/month towards fees for every child registered in a licensed daycare or preschool. This discount is already reflected in the fees above. The fees above are the parent portion after the government reduction. Should the government withdraw the funding, the parent portion above would be increased.

There is a $25 registration fee and space is limited.

What can you expect from Little Flower Pre-Kindergarten in Sacred Heart Academy in Strathmore, Alberta?

Having your young child attend school regularly provides a unique opportunity to develop social and emotional skills as well as form important first school experiences in a safe and caring environment.

 By attending Little Flower your child will:

  • explore, connect and grow through curriculum based on world-renowned programs such as Flight and the Reggio Emilia Approach;
  • develop early literacy and numeracy skills;
  • experience the world around them through nature-inspired activities and play-based learning;
  • develop fine motor and gross motor skills through connecting with others;
  • be immersed in a faith-based experience that reinforces each child’s unique place in the world
  • develop kindness and compassion through face-to-face relationships.

To enroll, students need to be four years of age by December 31 of the current school year. Children must be fully toilet trained to attend Little Flower Pre-School.

Enrolment in Little Flower Pre-Kindergarten will provide a great start to your child’s learning and personal connection to the CTR family. 

Little Flower is fully licensed through Alberta Child & Family Services.
