The fourth week of Advent is Love. Jesus came because God loves us so much that he doesn't want any of us to miss out on spending eternity (forever) with him. All we have to do is believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came to save us from sin.
Mass- Host 5K On our way to Mass, the students re-enacted the journey that Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem. O Come O Come Emmanuel. We began Mass by lighting all four of the Advent Wreath candles. While we light the candles, we reflect upon the joyous coming of the Lord. This tradition arose from a combination of our Advent tradition of the travelling Mary and Joseph statues going from class to class each day of Advent and the Hispanic Catholic tradition of Las Posadas where a group of people go from house to house with someone dressed up as Mary and Joseph looking for a place to rest until they finally come to where the innkeeper says yes.
