🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Fr. Cristino! 🌟 We are deeply grateful to Fr. Cristino for welcoming the Grade 3 students of Sacred Heart Academy to the church! 🙏✨ It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore and understand how the Holy Spirit is present in the sacraments of Baptism, the Eucharist, and Confirmation. Fr. Cristino’s guidance and insights made this experience truly special, allowing the students to connect with their faith in a meaningful way. Thank you, Fr. Great Learning Starts at Sacred Heart Academy! Register today for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten! Students must be five years of age for kindergarten and four years of age for pre-kindergarten by Dec. 31, 2025. Registration in our kindergarten program guarantees placement in Grade 1 and beyond. All students are welcome! Visit our Kindergarten Open House on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. You do not have to be registered at our school to attend the open house. We are so proud to share this story about Aliza H. in KZV! For Christmas, my 5-year-old daughter, Aliza, wants to donate her hair to Wigs for Kids. Wigs for Kids helps children with cancer by providing wigs during their treatment. A week after Aliza’s 5th birthday, she had a very successful surgery at the Alberta’s Children’s Hospital. We are tremendously grateful for this and so is Aliza. Shortly after surgery, when she was recovering, we were all sitting at the dinner table when she said, out of the blue, “Mommy, Daddy, I am grateful I had surgery”. When we started to get donation offers for cutting her hair, I asked Aliza where she would like the money to go. She said she wanted people to give money to the Children’s Hospital so other kids can have surgery too. I am so proud she wants to help other children and give back. I hope she can inspire others to spread kindness and help others.
