On Good Friday, the most solemn day, we turn to Christ in silence, to adore and remember Him and His sacrifice for us. We praise and glorify Him, for He has saved us from our sins. Last night our Grade 6 students had their Spring Concert. Wonderful job Grade 6 students and Mrs. Mackenzie! #wearesha

The grade 6 students of SHA held a food drive during lent to try and help as many families in our community as possible. The grade 6 students challenged other grades in the school to set goals during lent. We challenged each hallway to see which hallway could bring in the most items and the grade 5/6 hallway won that challenge with a total of 440 items. The hope was to collect 850 items as a school and we were very happy announce our grand total was 985 items.

Easter Break is starting tomorrow (Good Friday). We will see you back in class on April 17th!

Please help our classroom libraries and donate to our Read-a-thon. Sponsor sheets and instructions have been sent home with students. All money can be collected and donated through School Cash Online by April 20th. #SHAlearning

Palm Sunday Re-enactment (Performed on Monday April 3rd) - On this day, we recall and follow the footsteps of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, just days before he was to die. The celebration of Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. #SHAfaith #IBelieveinCatholicEd

Last chance to send in your donations, as pick up is tomorrow! The Grade 6's are supporting our community with their Good Works Project. Anything you can donate will help. Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. #SHAfaith #weareSHA

Grade 6 has set the goal this year to 850. Please remember to observe Almsgiving during the Lenten Season and contribute to the grade 6 lent Food Bank Drive.

Another 2 days of fun have been had by Grade 2 - Grade 6 students.....and teachers!! Thank you to all the parents that tied skates and joined in the fun. Also thank you to School Council for providing Mr. Van Bavel, who helped things run smoothly.
