Happy World Teacher Day to all of our wonderful teachers at SHA. You all shine light on Faith in your classrooms and how you handle everyday with grace, caring and love. You are all gifted with creating and working towards academic excellence for every student. Together you support a healthy school for other staff and students. We are blessed to have you at Sacred Heart Academy.

Grade 3 & 4 learned about plants and the importance of agriculture. Each student also planted a sunflower seed!

Spell-a-thon packages will be coming home with students! This is School Councils only fundraiser and it helps pay for many activities, such as Jamani Duo Drumming, In-Line Skating, and many more fun things throughout the year.

A great night out and a wonderful way to support our Parish!

October is the Month of the Rosary. As Mother Mary said to us, “I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.” Today Sacred Heart Students and Teachers asked Mary to pray for who and what was on our hearts and mind. We pray the Rosary and ask Mary to intercede with her prayer on our greatest worries and concerns and special intentions.

Thanks to Mr. Noll, Charlotte, Erwin and Clifford for making our school sparkle and for always being available to help.

No school on October 9th and 10th. Happy Thanksgiving!

On Friday, SHA had our Terry Fox run. We are so proud of one of our students, who decided to cut her hair and donate it during our kick-off! Way to go SHA!

Remember, Alien In-Line Skating is back on September 18th-22nd for all students with signed permissions in grades 2-6. Alien Inline Skating will be providing rollerblades, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards. Students will need to provide their own helmet (with a safety certification sticker attached e.g., CSA, CPSC, etc.) and wear socks. Please ensure that students come prepared on their scheduled day.
